Hemorrhoids That Bleed
This entry was posted on 7/10/2006 12:38 PM and is filed under Bleeding Hemorrhoids.
Hemorrhoids are very painful
lumps which appear either inside the anus which are internal hemorrhoids or
outside which are external. When there is too much weight on the anal cavity
the small veins in the anus start to push themselves out of the anal cavity.
Since the muscle tissue surrounding the anus is so thin the veins show through
as hemorrhoids. Once in a while the hemorrhoids may bleed due to pressure.
Bleeding hemorrhoids affect both normal people and pregnant women.
In fact bleeding hemorrhoids affect more pregnant women because of the weight
on the anal cavity from the fetus inside the mother. Many women get bleeding
hemorrhoids because of the amount of pressure which is on the veins and the
extra strain because of constipation. Constipation seems to occur frequently in
pregnant women, which could explain why they are so vulnerable to bleeding
hemorrhoids. Some women who birth children more than one time may also notice
that their bleeding hemorrhoids come back once they get pregnant again, or even
when the pregnancy is over. Fortunately for pregnant women bleeding hemorrhoids
do go away over time, unlike normal people who have them these hemorrhoids are
directly caused by the fetus.
Many people do not realize
that bleeding hemorrhoids
are caused when someone is often constipated and strains when going to
the bathroom. Many people do also not take enough care to change their diet and
eat more fibrous foods and fruits. When a hemorrhoid has enough pressure on it
may bleed, this bleeding is a sign that the diet needs to be changed and worked
on. Many people who have bleeding
hemorrhoids may only have recently noticed that the hemorrhoids are leaving
blood behind. Generally hemorrhoids will not bleed unless pushed hard enough
against the anal cavity wall. Bleeding hemorrhoids will only bleed slightly but
it will be bright red and may worry some. The blood which comes from the
hemorrhoid is arterial blood but will not hurt nor harm the body any. Blood
from any bleeding hemorrhoids may also show up on the stool, this is an
indication of a internal hemorrhoids.
Anyone who suffers from bleeding
hemorrhoids will know that they can be very painful and hard to deal with.
Taking warm baths helps some to relieve the pressure and pain of the bleeding hemorrhoid.
It is important to maintain a healthy diet in order to avoid the pain and
trouble of living withy bleeding hemorrhoids. It is also important to see a
doctor if this is the first time one is experiencing a bleeding hemorrhoid
because there may be something more serious than a hemorrhoid affecting the
anal cavity.
