Hemorrhoids are very painful lumps which appear either inside the anus which are internal hemorrhoids or outside which are external. When there is too much weight on the anal cavity the small veins in the anus start to push themselves out of the anal cavity. Since the muscle tissue surrounding the anus is so thin the veins show through as hemorrhoids. Once in a while the hemorrhoids may bleed due to pressure.
